Screenshots from the New Inferno Map have been released and it’s a lot more open…

Screenshots have been circulating Reddit of the new Inferno Map for CSGO. The new map is visibly brighter and more colourful than the Inferno we have grown accustomed to. The designers have also reduced the number of hiding positions across the map and have opened it up. Check out our comparison shots below:

So it seems like there’s going to be less camping more rushing in the updated version of Inferno. Check out OfficialHiko¬†walking you through all the new map features in the video below.

The Best CSGO Pistol Skins for Under a Pound (GBP) ‚Äď part 2

The R8 Revolver

r8 revolver

The R8 revolver is a slow loading but high impact hand cannon. It is the game’s newest gun¬†addition and offers a direct head-shot kill from any range. As it is a relatively new addition to the CSGO armoury not many skins have been released for the R8 revolver as of yet. You can however for purchase the iridescent Amber Fade Skin¬†(starting from 0.75GBP) which is reminiscent of the old Nokia Chameleon cover (older players will know what it’s about). A simpler factory new Bone Mask Skin¬†(starting at 0.14GBP) will satisfy players not looking for the the blingest skins to make a statement.

The Tec-9

Ohh yeah! The Tec-9! The fast firing¬†semi-automatic¬†t-side pistol that’s is lethal at close range. It features a large magazine and fast firing action makes it the deal pistol for powering through eco-rounds. There are a handful of skins available for the Tec-9 but our favourite low cost options are the purple-camouflaged Sandstorm Skin (starting at 0.26GBP but not available in factory new condition) and the stealthy looking Ice Cap Skin (starting at 0.52GBP). For under a pound you can even get the Sandstorm Skin with StatTrak¬†(0.94GBP) to keep count of the enemies that have looked down it’s barrel.

The P250 is the inexpensive choice for facing even armoured opponents as it offers one tap head-shot kills even if the player is equiped with a helmet. It has low-recoil and a fast rate of fire and comes in a large array of skins. Our low cost selection for flashier players is the P250 Franklin Skin (starting at 0.87GBP) featuring hydrographics of $100 bills. Bling Bling. Our option for players who prefer a more discrete set-up is the  Supernova Skin (starting at 0.47 GBP) which features a galactic graphic which is only fully visible upon closer inspection.

The P2000

The P2000 is best for dealing with unarmored opponents as it doesn’t offer any significant armour penetration. It does however have a large reserve of ammo and a is highly accurate. We can’t help but feature the¬†P2000 Amber Fade¬†(starting at 0.62GBP) as it is our opinion that all fade skins look¬†AWESOME and for under a pound it’s almost a bargain. Our second low-cost option is the ¬†P2000 Oceanic Skin (starting at 0.25 GBP) which features a blue trippy pattern on a black pistol which resembles the skin of a poisonous Amazonian Dart Frog (see image at the end of this post).

Last but definitely not least is the CT spawn standard issue pistol the USP-S. This pistol features a silencer which suppresses noise and recoil. USP-S skins tend to be more expensive as it is the standard issued gun for the CT-side. You can still however find some cool low cost skins such as the subtle USP-S Guardian Skin (starting at 0.87) which features a black pistol with a navy blue barrel or the modern industrial looking USP-S Torque Skin (starting at 0.52GBP).

The Best CSGO Pistol Skins for Under a Pound (GBP) – part 1

Despite many of the rarest and most sought after skins in CSGO going for a small fortune, there are still a number of cool looking skins you can pick up for pennies.

For the gamer that wants a cool gun but would rather spend their hard-earned cash on games and hardware, we have selected a small sample of our favourite skins that won’t break the bank.

*Please note that these prices were valid when the article was published but are likely to fluctuate

The CZ75

The CZ75 is a rapid firing gun which does more damage than the¬†Glock, P2000 and USP-S¬†but requires discipline due to it’s low ammo capacity. Both these skins can be purchased from the Steam Marketplace in Factory new condition for under 1 pound (GBP). Flashy players will prefer the vibrant Tigris skin (starting at 0.63GBP) while the Hexane skin (starting at 0.57 GBP) will appeal to players looking for a less obvious upgrade.

The Deagle

CSGO’s portable hand-cannon guarantees long-range accuracy and almost perfect one-tap head-shots. ¬†It’s popularity within the CSGO community has led to an increase in the price of available skins. However there are still some pretty cool skins to be bought on a budget. ¬†The Meteorite skin (starting at 0.27 GBP) features a black Deagle with a subtle marbled effect and¬†some small,¬†subtle goldish trim. The Bronze Deco¬†skin (starting at 0.13 GBP)¬†on the other hand looks like the type of pistol the authorities would recover after raiding a drug lord’s house and will appeal to players who think subtlety is for the weak. You can even get the Stat Trak version for under a pound and¬†keep count of your kill record.

 Dual Berettas

The Dual Berettas have a low reload time and reduced accuracy compared to other CSGO pistols, but hey some people still think two guns are better than one.  The Dualing Dragons skin (starting at 0.41 GBP) is the straight forward choice of any villain in a Jackie Chan film or a CSGO player on a budget.  The Ventilators skin is the choice of dual berettas for players who prefer a more subtle skin. It features slight orange trim on an anthracite body and for under a pound you can even pick it up with Stat Trak!

                                          The Five-Seven

The Five-Seven is a CT only gun which offers high accuracy, high armor penetration and a 20¬†round magazine. It’s only drawback is a slightly delayed reload time. Our choice of budget skins for this weapon are the Silver Quartz (starting at 0.32 GBP) and the awesome Nightshade skin (starting at 0.46 GBP) featuring an Asian inspired, ornamental flower design on the barrel.

The Glock-18

The Glock-18 is the standard T-side equipment pistol and can be shot in semi-automatic or burst mode. Less effective against armored opponents and with a lower rate of accuracy than other pistols it is still a staple of the t-side’s arsenal. The Catacombs skin (starting at 0.20 GBP) features a ghostly, skull packed, hydro-graphic on the barrel. One of our all-time favourite Glock-18 skins is also available to gamers on a budget! The Grinder skin (starting at 0.63 GBP) features a silvery fractal design on the barrel with rainbow-like reflections in the smallest details. ¬†Both are sure fan favourites.

In order to promote the website we created a short looping video which would feature as a short YouTube advert and as a promoted Instagram Post. The final result can be seen below. The video was made frame by frame in Photoshop in order to get the appropriate manual GIF feel we were going for. Using video editing software would have given a smoother and less genuine outcome. Enjoy!
